As we head into summer months, as what I call the dog days of summer, the weather is getting really hot! It is so important to have summer enrichment toys and treats for your dog to keep cool in the summer months ahead.
It is so wonderful to squeeze in an early morning or late night walk while the weather is still manageable. You may ask how to keep your dog busy and happy during the summer.
Create their own water oasis with a pet splash pad and some durable fetch balls. Make sure to bring a portable dog water bottle to any outdoor activity to avoid them getting overheated.
Make DIY frozen treats with mold trays and a single serve blender. Make these by mixing yogurt, peanut butter, crushed up treats, and any other ingredients you may have around the house. Other enrichment toys create a fun environment for pups indoors when it is too hot to venture outside.

I love using my Stanley water bottle year-round but especially during summer months. It keeps the ice and water so cold. I also use it to refill Gingy’s dog water bottle. Make the summer months fun by spoiling your pup and keeping them cool!
